This is the Health and Safety Policy Statement of ORJ Construction Ltd
Our policy is to seek to eliminate or reduce the hazards arising from all of our work activities undertaken by us:
We will provide
- adequate control of the residual health and safety risks arising from our work activities
- safe plant and equipment and keep it well maintained at all times
- appropriate information, training and supervision for employees
- a safe and healthy working environment
We will ensure
- that our employees are regularly consulted on matters relating to health and safety
- the health and safety of all other persons who may be affected by our work
- the safe handling and use of hazardous substances;
- that employees are adequately training in order to complete their tasks safely
- that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent accidents and cases of work related ill health
ORJ as a company is committed to health and safety at work. The Directors and staff believe that the health and safety of the employees is of paramount importance whatever their role within the organisation. It is our policy to endeavour to achieve the highest practicable levels of health and safety in all of our operations and to obtain the co- operation of employees and contractors in implementing this policy. We will also regularly review our policy in this area.
"ORJ were responsible for the Carpentry sub-contract at Sneem Hotel and fulfilled a tight program over 13 months. The work included the fit out of 69 bedrooms, corridors, Bar, Restaurant, public areas and also a 38 unit apartment block.
